SAN DIEGO, CA – May 27, 2024 – iGolf is excited to partner with Performance Golf, the Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based golf instruction and game improvement company recognized by Forbes as “flattening the instructional curve in golf” and named by INC as the fastest-growing online golf instruction company in the world. Through the partnership, iGolf’s global GPS course database and mapping technology will support Performance Golf’s expanding technology platform, connecting its instruction and AI-powered coaching tools with the real-world course environment where improvement ultimately gets measured.

Through the partnership, Performance Golf will integrate iGolf’s comprehensive GPS course database into its platform, providing accurate course intelligence across more than 40,000 mapped golf courses in 177 countries. With detailed hole layouts, green mapping, and geospatial information, iGolf will provide the course foundation supporting Performance Golf’s round tracking, on-course strategy, and performance measurement capabilities, helping connect what golfers learn and practice with how they ultimately perform on the course.

Founded in 2016 by former Division I golfer Brixton Albert, Performance Golf has grown into a $100 million-plus platform and what the company describes as the world’s largest online golf training community. Its instructional ecosystem features some of golf’s most recognized coaches and champions, including Sir Nick Faldo, Hank Haney, and David Leadbetter. Building on that instructional foundation, Performance Golf has invested significantly in technology designed to make high-quality coaching increasingly personalized and accessible.

That evolution includes PG1, Performance Golf’s AI-driven adaptive coaching platform. PG1 is designed to identify a golfer’s underlying swing issues and develop a personalized improvement path based on factors including body type, learning patterns, and available practice time. The platform combines individualized instruction with swing analysis, practice tracking, in-app coaching, and round performance, creating a continuous improvement experience that connects what a golfer works on during practice with what happens when they return to the course.

“Performance Golf has built an extraordinary community around helping golfers improve, and what makes this partnership particularly exciting is the opportunity to connect that instruction more closely with what actually happens on the golf course,” said Ryan Kimberling, Vice President of Sales & Strategy at iGolf. “Golfers ultimately measure improvement by how they perform when they play. By combining Performance Golf’s instructional and AI capabilities with iGolf’s course intelligence, we can help create a more complete connection between learning, practicing, playing, and measuring progress.”
