As a premier iGolf partner, the relationship extends beyond traditional course-data licensing, with iGolf working alongside TecTecTec across its connected GPS product ecosystem to support the development of golf watches, handheld GPS devices, speakers, and the integrated mobile experience that connects those products. The partnership with iGolf provides the course intelligence foundation behind TecTecTec’s GPS-enabled hardware. iGolf’s mapping database supplies the geographic course information necessary for golfers to receive distances to key locations throughout a hole, allowing TecTecTec to deliver GPS functionality across multiple product formats rather than limiting the experience to a single device. The ULT-G watch, for example, provides automatic course recognition, front, center, and back green distances, hazard information, and automatic hole progression, while the lightweight ULT-G handheld provides similar essential GPS information in a dedicated portable device.

TecTecTec has also extended GPS beyond traditional watches and handhelds through its TEAM8 connected audio family. The TEAM8 Golf GPS Speaker combines music with audible distances to the front, middle, and back of greens and hazards. TEAM8 E brings similar functionality to wireless earbuds, allowing golfers to request green and hazard distances and measure shot distance through touch controls while also using the product for music and calls. The TEAM8 L further expands the connected speaker lineup with dedicated controls for green, shot, and hazard distances.

Central to this ecosystem is the TecTecTec Golf GPS mobile application, which provides the software connection between golfers, course content, and compatible TecTecTec hardware. The app supports the ULT-G watch and handheld as well as TEAM8 audio devices, providing course updates, device connectivity, and product settings through a unified mobile experience. TecTecTec currently offers lifetime course updates without a subscription for its supported GPS products, allowing the hardware and underlying course information to remain connected throughout the life of the device.
