SAN DIEGO, CA – November 17, 2023 – iGolf is excited to partner with Citizen Watch Co., Ltd., one of the world’s most recognized watchmakers, to provide golf course data powering golf functionality within Citizen’s CZ Smart hybrid smartwatch platform. The partnership brings iGolf’s global GPS course intelligence directly to golfers’ wrists, combining Citizen’s watchmaking expertise with accurate and comprehensive on-course information.

Through the partnership, iGolf’s GPS course database will support the golf experience within the CZ Smart platform, providing access to course information from more than 40,000 mapped golf courses across 177 countries. iGolf’s detailed mapping and geospatial data will enable golfers to access accurate hole information, distances, and other course intelligence directly from their smartwatch, providing useful information at a glance throughout the round.

Citizen’s CZ Smart hybrid smartwatch combines the appearance and heritage of a traditional Citizen timepiece with connected smart technology. Through the Citizen Connected platform, its golf functionality provides hole-by-hole course information, distances to the hole, par and handicap data, and real-time weather conditions including wind speed and direction.
