SAN DIEGO, CA – January 8, 2021 – iGolf is excited to partner with DPP Golf, developer of The Green Zone, a pin-placement system designed to help golf course maintenance teams manage daily hole locations, protect putting surfaces, and improve communication of pin positions to golfers. The partnership combines DPP Golf’s specialized approach to hole-location management with iGolf’s detailed golf course mapping and geospatial technology.

Through the partnership, DPP Golf will integrate iGolf’s course mapping technology to support accurate green information and hole-location positioning within its platform. The combination provides golf course teams with a detailed spatial foundation for selecting and managing daily pin positions while supporting the accurate communication of those locations across DPP Golf’s connected tools.

The Green Zone addresses an important part of daily golf course maintenance by giving course teams greater visibility into how putting surfaces are being used over time. Staff can view previous hole locations, establish recovery periods, quarantine areas requiring additional recovery, and plan future tournament hole locations. The platform can also generate customized daily and tournament pin sheets and synchronize exact hole locations with DPP Golf’s player-facing technology.
