SAN DIEGO, CA – August 16, 2022 – iGolf is excited to partner with Evolution Electric Vehicles, a premium electric golf car manufacturer combining automotive-inspired design with integrated technology. Through the partnership, iGolf’s global GPS course database will support the golf functionality available through Evolution’s onboard technology platform, bringing accurate course intelligence directly to golfers through the touchscreen displays integrated into its vehicles.

Through the partnership, Evolution will integrate iGolf’s comprehensive GPS course database and mapping technology into its in-cart experience. With iGolf’s database covering more than 40,000 mapped golf courses across 177 countries, including detailed hole layouts, green mapping, geospatial information, and 3D elevation terrain, Evolution will be able to provide golfers with precise yardages, hazard information, and course maps directly from the vehicle’s integrated display.

Evolution differentiates its golf cars by combining transportation with an increasingly connected technology experience. Its vehicles incorporate touchscreen infotainment systems alongside features such as Bluetooth connectivity, audio, navigation, and other automotive-inspired technology. Integrating golf-specific course intelligence into that environment creates an opportunity for the vehicle itself to become a more meaningful part of the golfer’s on-course experience, providing information where golfers can access it naturally throughout the round.
