SAN DIEGO, CA – iGolf is excited to partner with Tour Brassie GmbH, the company behind bebrassie, a golf performance platform that combines automatic shot tracking, GPS course information, advanced statistics, and data-driven course strategy to help golfers better understand and improve their game. Through the partnership, bebrassie integrates iGolf’s industry-leading golf course mapping and GPS data into its platform, providing accurate course intelligence across more than 40,000 courses worldwide and creating the geographic foundation for its on-course tracking, performance analysis, and strategic planning tools.
bebrassie is designed to capture a golfer’s performance with minimal interruption to the round. Using the motion sensors and GPS capabilities already available in compatible smartphones and smartwatches, the platform’s Automatic Shot Detection technology identifies shots and records a player’s movement around the course without requiring additional tracking hardware. Golfers can access GPS distances to the front, middle, and back of greens, measure distances throughout a hole, record scores, and use the platform from a smartphone or smartwatch. Previously downloaded course information can also be used offline, allowing golfers to continue tracking rounds when an internet connection is unavailable.
After the round, bebrassie transforms the captured information into a detailed performance profile. Players can review and adjust detected shots through an interactive interface and analyze their performance using Strokes Gained, club distances, dispersion patterns, greens and fairways in regulation, putting statistics, scoring trends, and other performance measures. Its Intended Target feature allows golfers to record where they intended to hit individual shots, creating additional context for evaluating dispersion and decision-making rather than looking solely at the final result. Coaches can also access player statistics through bebrassie’s group functionality, providing a data-driven foundation for more targeted instruction and training plans.
By pairing these capabilities with iGolf’s database of more than 40,000 mapped golf courses across 177 countries, bebrassie can connect individual shot locations and performance data with the characteristics of the course where those shots were played. The relationship goes beyond basic GPS yardages: iGolf’s course intelligence provides the spatial context needed for bebrassie to evaluate rounds, display hole and green information, and help golfers understand their performance within the actual environment in which each shot occurred. bebrassie specifically identifies iGolf as its course-data provider and directs golfers to iGolf’s course database when searching its worldwide course coverage.
That course intelligence also supports one of bebrassie’s most distinctive capabilities — its Strategy tools. Using performance information collected from previous rounds, golfers can create individualized game plans for courses, visualize expected club dispersion, evaluate potential paths of play, and account for factors such as elevation. The completed strategy can then be printed as a tournament-compliant yardage book, helping connect historical performance analysis with preparation for future rounds.
“What makes bebrassie particularly compelling is how extensively they connect the golf course with the golfer’s actual performance. iGolf’s role isn’t limited to providing a distance to the green — our course intelligence becomes part of the foundation for tracking shots, analyzing performance, and ultimately helping a golfer develop a smarter strategy for how they play. Tour Brassie has built a sophisticated platform around turning round data into actionable information, and we’re excited to partner with their team as they continue developing new ways for golfers and coaches to better understand performance,” said Ryan Kimberling, Vice President of Sales & Strategy at iGolf.
