SAN DIEGO, CA – February 23, 2026 – iGolf is excited to partner with Sevah Creative, the company behind Wind Caddie, a new golf GPS and scorecard application being developed to help golfers make better club selections by accounting for the conditions they encounter on the course. Through the partnership, Wind Caddie will integrate iGolf’s industry-leading golf course mapping and GPS data into its platform, providing accurate course intelligence as the foundation for an experience designed to simplify on-course decision-making and help golfers play more confidently.

Wind Caddie is being developed around a straightforward challenge familiar to golfers at every level: the distance on the scorecard rarely tells the entire story. Wind and changing playing conditions can significantly influence how a golf shot plays, leaving golfers to determine not only how far they are from the target but which club gives them the best opportunity to execute the shot. Wind Caddie is designed to make that process easier by combining golf GPS functionality with weather-aware club selection guidance, positioning the application as a digital caddie that helps golfers choose the right club for the conditions.

Through its partnership with iGolf, Wind Caddie gains access to a global course-data foundation spanning more than 40,000 mapped golf courses across 177 countries. iGolf’s detailed course mapping and geospatial intelligence provide the location and course context necessary for GPS-based functionality, allowing Wind Caddie to build its decision-making experience around accurate information about the course the golfer is actually playing.

The collaboration is particularly important as Wind Caddie prepares for its initial launch. The company currently describes the application as being in development for both iOS and Android, with development updates and beta-user opportunities planned during 2026. By incorporating iGolf’s established global course database during development, Wind Caddie can build its GPS experience on a scalable mapping infrastructure from the outset rather than developing course coverage market by market.

The partnership represents another example of how iGolf’s course intelligence can support a new generation of applications moving beyond traditional GPS. While distance remains fundamental, emerging golf technology increasingly combines location with other information to help golfers interpret what a particular shot requires. Wind Caddie’s focus on weather-informed club selection brings those elements together with the goal of making one of golf’s most frequent decisions — “What club should I hit?” — easier for the player.

“Wind Caddie is taking a very practical approach to one of the decisions golfers have to make on virtually every shot. Knowing the distance is important, but golfers ultimately need to understand how the conditions affect that distance and what club gives them the best opportunity to execute. We’re excited to partner with Sevah Creative and provide the trusted course intelligence behind Wind Caddie as their team prepares to bring this new experience to golfers,” said Ryan Kimberling, Vice President of Sales & Strategy at iGolf.
