Through the partnership, OpenGolf integrates iGolf’s industry-leading golf course mapping and GPS data into its platform, providing the course intelligence needed to power detailed hole maps, GPS distances, targeting, and other location-based features across the OpenGolf experience.

OpenGolf is designed to provide golfers with more than a traditional distance-to-the-green GPS. Interactive satellite hole maps allow players to view the course and use movable GPS targeting to measure distances to locations throughout the hole, while front, center, and back green yardages provide immediate reference points for approach shots. Golfers can also adjust pin positions to better reflect the day’s hole location, creating a more detailed picture of the shot in front of them.

The platform builds on that course information with plays-like distances and smart club recommendations.
